Luminance is a celebration of the striking contrasts found in our habitat garden. Inspired by the raven that visits the tall trees at the back of our property and the delicate white butterflies that drift through the garden each day, this piece is all about the quiet beauty that exists in opposites.

The deep, luminous black of the raven stands in harmony with the ethereal whiteness of the butterflies, creating a balance between strength and fragility, shadow and light. Together, they remind us that nature's beauty is often found in its contrasts.

Created using my signature pen-work and collage insects/leaves with acrylic metallics backdrop, Luminance is rich with texture and depth, encouraging the viewer to slow down and discover the intricate details within. It is a heartfelt tribute to the wildlife that surrounds our home.
