Through detailed pen work or coloured pencils, I celebrate the birds, insects, and native plants that share our habitat garden and bush walks along the South Coast of NSW. Each artwork is a reflection of the joy, wonder, and quiet magic found in everyday encounters. I hope each piece encourages you to look a little closer, appreciate the beauty that surrounds us, and feel a deeper connection to the world outside your window.

I'm Kath
For me, creating starts with paying attention. The birds that visit our garden, a butterfly passing by, or a quiet walk in the bush often become the beginnings of a new drawing.
I love working in two mediums pen and ink allows me to slow the work down, taking notice of intricate details and patterns in nature. The colour pencils on black paper bring Australia's native birds to life with that richness and vibrancy we see every day. I capture minuscule moments, every piece is created in the hope that it helps someone slow down, connect with nature, and find a little joy.
