From a bare block of earth, Pete has created a thriving garden habitat that is now home to birds, butterflies, blue-banded bees and many other native species. It is a place of beauty, renewal and endless inspiration for my artwork.
I am forever grateful for all the hard work Pete has put into creating this beautiful habitat garden. It has become a living work of art and an endless source of inspiration.
Updates on the garden
As the days seem to get longer and the sleeping garden wakes. I am seeing busy birds gathering things for their nests. Tiny flowers appear on bare branches. Two tall Gymea lilies are starting to open. Which creates a frenzy of visitors who feast on these beautiful plants. Magnolia buds in bright pink pop open, one by one. The message that spring and warmer weather is on the way. Our sanctuary comes alive, the dormant maple unfurls with new growth. The hover flies silently hover , as birds chirp and the frogs croak. We wait and we watch life a new. That beautiful cycle of seasons changing once more and refreshing our habitat garden.
